We are absolutely delighted to reveal that one of our latest interior design projects will feature on BBC House of the Year.
The episode will be available to watch from Monday 5 January on BBC iPlayer, with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen presenting this stunning home to the judges.
House of the Year returns with the first five episodes available to stream from Monday 5 January. In each episode, three exceptional homes compete for one of five coveted places in the grand final, where one will ultimately be crowned House of the Year.
It’s down to the three expert judges to decide which homes make it through, while also giving audiences an insight into what makes each property truly special.
One of the homes featured showcases the interior design and styling by Jo Andrews Interiors, Belfast.
“This project has been an incredibly exciting journey, and we’re so proud to see it recognised on such a prestigious platform. Being part of a series that celebrates outstanding design, craftsmanship, and individuality in homes across Northern Ireland is a real honour,” Jo explains.
Jo continues:
“We weren’t just involved at the finishing stage. We worked on this project from the very beginning, collaborating closely with the architects to bring the client’s vision to life. Our role covered everything from fixtures, fittings, and spatial layout, to how the home flows and is used on a daily basis — right through to the complete soft finishes, including lighting, soft furnishings, and colour palettes that reflect the surrounding landscape.”
The series offers viewers a deeper insight into what we do at Jo Andrews Interiors and why our approach stands out. It also challenges traditional ideas of what an interior designer really does, highlighting the level of involvement required to create truly cohesive, considered spaces.
